Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience (52 weeks) equivalent to the experience that would have been gained if working in this position at the next lower grade level (GS-7). Experience must include receipt, ID, storage, preparation, and shipping of laboratory meat, poultry, or egg samples and sampling supplies performance, the capability to assume additional responsibility and ability to perform required tasks at the next higher level. Excellent organizational skills must be present to ensure that work is done accurately and within stated time frames. OR 2 years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's or equivalent. For the GS-11 level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience (52 weeks) equivalent to the experience that would have been gained if working in this position at the next lower grade level (GS-9). Experience must include receipt, ID, storage, preparation, and shipping of laboratory meat, poultry, or egg samples and sampling supplies performance and must include performing more independently when completing increasingly complex food and residue chemistry sample preparation, storage, and chain of custody samples. Must have excellent organizational skill to complete multiple tasks accurately and within stated timeframes. OR 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree. For the GS-12 level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience (52 weeks) equivalent to the experience that would have been gained if working in this position at the next lower grade level (GS-11). Experience must include professional work in meat, poultry, or egg sample handling, storage, chain of custody, supply inventory, and developing and writing guidelines. Experience should include knowledge of supply distribution, and maintenance of both electronic and paper records. Applicants must also demonstrate experience or training in quality control work that and this experience MUST include laboratory experience working in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory. There is NO education substitution at the GS-12 level. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
