The position's primarily responsibility is to assist the Executive Chef in dishwashing, perform routine cleaning tasks in cafeteria, maintaining food services facilities in a safe and sanitary condition, along with deliver meals to various schools in the district.
Also, to assist in the development of new food items by polling clients, preparing the food items for sale, and receiving feedback on the items to communicate the information to the Executive Chef.
This position is trained to fill in for food service staff, including managers.
The position may travel to multiple sites during the day to fill in as needed.

Assist with dishwashing and do related work as required E 2.
Set up counters and dishes/silverware for lunches; wash dishes, trays, pots & pans; clean counters, work area, equipment and dispose of refuse E 3.
Deliver meals to various schools in the district E 4.
Perform routine cleaning tasks in cafeteria and do related work required E 5.
Prepare, assemble, and dispense meals E 6.
Prepare, cook, and bake main dishes E 7.
Monitor cafeteria student line E 8.
Estimate food quantities to be ordered for food preparation E 9.
Work POS during lunch service (collect money, check off free and reduced lunch lists) E 10.
Follow recipe directions E 11.
Complete various record keeping functions E 12.
Other related duties as assigned 13.
Support student workers as needed E 14.
Conduct taste testing with site staff for development of new food items E 15.
Participate in the development of new food items E 16.
Conduct surveys with students/staff to develop new food items E 17.
Obtain feedback on new food items E 18.
Fill in for various positions, as needed E 19.
Document product development process and stakeholder input E KNOWLEDGE OF:

Ability to cook, bake, and prepare food in large quantities 6.
