Registered Orthodontic Assistant

ISong Orthodontics is looking for a skilled and compassionate Orthodontic Assistant to join our team.
As an RDA, you will work closely with our dentists, hygienists, and other dental professionals to provide high-quality dental care to our patients.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with dental procedures, taking x-rays, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring the comfort of our patients.

iSong Orthodontics is seeking someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and has excellent communication skills.
You must have a valid RDA license and be proficient in dental office software.
Previous experience in a dental office is preferred.

Duties Include:

  • Prepare patient for procedure or exam, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials, and assist during dental procedures.
  • Provide patient and practice support services, including, but not limited to, personal assistance, medical attention, and emotional support.
  • Motivates, educates, and provides excellent treatment.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, provide preventative dental care, take and develop X-rays, apply fluoride, sealants, and/or silver-diamine fluoride.
  • Discovering and documenting areas of failure, both periodontally and restoratively, he or she assists the dentist's diagnosis and treatment recommendations.

Pay Range:
$30.
00 - $35.
00 per hour

Requirements

  • Valid RDA license
  • CPR Certified and first aid certification
  • Proficiency in dental office software (e.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Previous experience in an ortho office preferred
