In this role, you will maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company's compliance with all legal requirements for a multi-unit restaurant.
Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, bringing the books to the trial balance stage.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.
Responsibilities Enter financial data and transactions Track vendor invoices and ensure proper reconciliation to specific restaurant locations Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered Prepare trial balance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills Flexible work from home options available.
